Flex International

Our place is over at B 13 in Section 3 of the Bawana Industrial Area. It’s an industrial park, so it’s all warehouses and trucks around here. We work with flexible materials and parts, hence the name Flex International. The floor is usually covered in scraps and the hum of the machines is constant from eight till six. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations out front, just the unit number. Most of our days are spent checking the machines and making sure the orders are packed right in the crates. It gets pretty hot in the summer inside the unit, so we keep the big doors open to catch a breeze. The guys on the floor know their stuff and don't need much managing. We’ve been in Bawana for a while now, and we’ve seen the sector grow quite a bit. It’s not the cleanest work, you definitely go home with dirty hands, but it’s honest. We handle a lot of different clients, some big and some small. We just try to get the work out the door on time. Sometimes the logistics of getting trucks in and out of the narrow lanes here is a headache, but we manage. It’s just a regular workshop doing what it needs to do every day. We usually close up shop once the last truck has been loaded and checked. It's a solid day's work for everyone here.
