Awardsandtrophies.In is located right in the middle of everything at 1734 Dariba Kalan Road in Chandni Chowk. If you’ve ever been to Old Delhi, you know how tight the lanes are and how many people are there. Our shop is surrounded by history and a lot of noise. We make trophies and awards, so the place is always shiny with metal and glass everywhere. There are shelves covering the walls filled with different designs we've made over the years. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of inventory into a small space. You can hear the rickshaws and the people shouting in the street outside all day long. We spend our time engraving names and polishing surfaces until they look right. It’s a lot of detail work that keeps us busy from the moment we open the shutters in the morning. The air is thick with the smell of metal polish and the sounds of the market. We don't have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. People just walk in, look at the samples, and tell us what they need for their event. We’ve seen all kinds of customers, from small schools to big corporate offices. Every day is a bit different because of the variety of things we are working on. It’s a traditional way of doing business in a part of the city that hasn't changed much in decades. We just keep doing what we know best.
