Diamond Plastics

Diamond Plastics is located at 2226 Kinnari Bazar, which is right in the middle of Chandni Chowk. If you have ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes can be. We have been working out of this spot for many years. Every morning we open up the shutters and start moving stock around to make space for people to stand. It is a lot of hard work because the space is tight and there are always deliveries coming in or going out. We deal with all sorts of plastic items, and our shelves are usually packed from floor to ceiling. It gets very hot in the summer, but we are used to it by now. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that is usually when we take a short break. Most of our customers are shopkeepers themselves who come from different parts of the city to find what they need. We don't have a big office or anything like that, just a small desk where we keep the books and handle the cash. Sometimes the power goes out, or the rain makes the streets muddy, but the work never really stops. We just keep going day after day, trying to keep track of everything in the shop. It is a simple life and we like being part of the history of Chandni Chowk.
