We have been over here on Canal Road for a good while now. Ashok Manufacturing Co. Pvt.Ltd. isn't some fancy high-rise office, it is just a solid place in Vijay Nagar where the work gets done every day. Most people around here know the spot near the canal. It is a busy area, but we like it. We have the machines running and the guys stay focused on the orders. It is not always quiet, but that is how a workshop is supposed to be. My father started things small, and we just kept going along. We do not spend much time on fancy brochures or websites because the work speaks for itself. If you walk into 1 Canal Road, you will see some grease, some metal, and people who know their way around a lathe. It gets hot in the summer, but we just open the doors and keep moving. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops come and go, but we are still right here doing the same thing we have always done. Some days are harder than others when a machine breaks down or a delivery is late, but that is just life in manufacturing. We do not try to be anything we aren't. We just make the parts, pack them up, and get them where they need to go. It is simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning till evening. We are glad to be part of the community in Vijay Nagar.
