Airtech Pneumatics

Airtech Pneumatics is located at 951, Kucha Pati Ram, right in the middle of Sita Rama Bazar. If you know the area, you know how tight the lanes are in Gali Nai Basti. It is a very old part of town with a lot of history. We work with air compressors, hoses, and all the little brass fittings that connect everything together. The shop is small and goes back quite deep into the old building. There is a constant sound of rickshaws and people talking outside. We spend our days sorting through bins of connectors and testing out valves. It is dusty work because of the location, but we are used to it. Most of our customers have been coming to this street for decades. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a counter and a lot of stock kept behind it. Sometimes deliveries are hard because the big trucks cannot get down the narrow alley, so we end up carrying heavy things by hand. It keeps us fit, I suppose. We open the shutters in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. We deal with a lot of small workshops that need their air lines fixed quickly so they don't lose a day of work. It is not a glamorous job, but it is necessary for the local industry. We know the machines and we know the parts. That is basically all there is to it.
