Vaango

You’ll find us right by the Sector 37 Botanical Garden Metro Station, just next to the Federal Bank. It’s a very busy spot because of the metro. Vaango is where we work every day. We see hundreds of people rushing past our windows every hour. We don't have a big, fancy philosophy behind what we do. We just realized that people getting off the train are often hungry and tired. So, we set up this spot to give them something to eat. The kitchen is small but we make it work. We spend a lot of time prepping before the first morning train arrives. It’s a lot of steam and heat back there. We don't have fancy decorations. Most of our furniture is just practical stuff that’s easy to clean. We do the mopping ourselves every night after the last train has gone. It’s a lot of hours on our feet. Sometimes we run out of napkins or the change is low, but we manage. We aren't trying to be a five-star destination. We are just a convenient stop for folks on their commute. We know the regulars who come in every morning for their usual order. It’s nice to have that routine. We don’t do much advertising because the location does the work for us. We’re just here next to the bank, keeping the lights on.
