You can find Tarkeshwar Exporter Corporation over at E-183 in Sector-27. It’s a basic plot with a building that we’ve used for a long time. We handle exports, which sounds a lot more glamorous than it actually is. Most of our time is spent in the warehouse area checking boxes or in the small office area typing out invoices. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and making sure the labels are on straight. We have a few guys who help with the loading. The office part is just a couple of tables and some old computers. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door goes to open it. Sector-27 is a good spot for us because it’s easy for the trucks to get in and out without getting stuck in too much traffic. We’ve had some tough times, especially when the shipping costs go up or things get delayed for no reason. We just keep at it though. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so we all chip in where we can. Sometimes my nephew comes in to help with the computer stuff. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work properly and go home at the end of the day. There’s always a lot of dust because of all the cardboard, but that’s just how it goes.
