Aamrita Textile Industries

Our factory, Aamrita Textile Industries, is located at A 35 in Sector 5. It’s an industrial area, so there are a lot of other businesses around us doing similar things. Our building is a plain concrete structure. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re pretty much right on the floor where the machines are. It’s loud and it’s usually quite warm. We produce various textile goods here. We spend a lot of time watching the machines to make sure they don't snag or break down. If they do, we fix them ourselves most of the time. It’s a lot of standing and moving around. Your back might ache a bit by the end of the day. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big words to describe what we do. We just make textiles at A 35. The workers here have been together for a long time, so we have our own way of doing things. We have a small area where we eat our lunch and take breaks. It’s not much, but it’s enough. We just keep moving with the orders we have and try to keep things going. Sector 5 can be a busy place with trucks coming in and out, so we have to stay alert. That’s our daily life at Aamrita Textile Industries. We have some old calendars on the wall and a small clock that's usually a few minutes fast. It doesn't really matter as long as the work gets done.
