We are over in B-252 Sector-19. It’s not a huge place, just a standard industrial plot where we do our thing with textile cones. Most days start early because the machines take a bit of time to get going. The noise becomes like background music after a while. You don’t even notice it until someone stops a motor and it gets quiet suddenly. We have a small crew here, mostly guys from the neighborhood or just a few blocks away. My desk is right near the entrance, so I see everyone coming in and out. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, to be honest. It gets hot in the summer, especially in the back where the stock is kept. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, the whole floor gets cluttered for a few hours. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes. We deal with paper and glue mostly. It’s sticky work. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the gate because the road is narrow and people park their scooters everywhere. We just yell out to the neighbors to move their bikes and it eventually works out. It is just a normal day-to-day operation. No big speeches or fancy logos. We just make what we need to make and head home when the sun goes down. It’s been this way for years now and we are used to the rhythm.
