Bomull India is run from an apartment-style office in Sector 76, specifically unit F803 in the Jmarchid building. It’s a different setup than a traditional factory or warehouse, but it works fine for what we do. We mainly focus on the design and coordination side of things here. There are racks of clothes and fabric swatches all over the living area which we turned into a workspace a while back. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which is fine by us. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or on the computer talking to suppliers and customers from all over. Sometimes it gets a bit cluttered with all the boxes waiting to be sent out to the couriers in the afternoon. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s pretty quiet compared to the industrial zones where we used to be. We started here because it was convenient for our daily lives, and we just stayed as things grew. We don't have a big reception desk or anything formal like that. If you come by to visit, you’ll probably find someone sorting through a new delivery on the floor or checking samples on the table. It’s just how we operate. We keep things informal and focus on getting the details of each order right. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy throughout the entire week. Sometimes we work late into the evening when there’s a big project, and the kitchen table usually ends up covered in fabric scraps.
