Y W C A Kitchen

Our kitchen is located at 10 Sansad Marg. It’s a very central part of the city, right near all the government buildings and big offices that line the streets. Y W C A Kitchen is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the busy streets just outside the gate. We spend most of our time back in the kitchen area getting things ready for the daily lunch crowd. Most of the people who eat here are regulars who work nearby and just want something simple and reliable during their break. We don't have a big, fancy menu with names you can't pronounce or anything like that. It’s just straightforward food that we cook every morning from scratch. The dining area is basic, with tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We like it that way because it feels more like a home kitchen than a big commercial restaurant. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the lunch rush hits at one o'clock, but otherwise, it’s a pretty peaceful place to work. We’ve had the same people working in the kitchen for a long time, so we have a good rhythm going together. There’s no big mystery to what we do here. We just show up, cook, and clean up at the end of the day. It’s a steady routine that suits us just fine. We don't go for anything flashy, just the same daily work we've always done at Sansad Marg.
