Vibha Interiors

Vibha Interiors is up on the 4th floor at 28B/C Mehrauli. There is no elevator in this building, so we get plenty of exercise going up and down those stairs every day. By the time we reach the top, we are usually a bit winded, but the view of the old neighborhood is worth it. Our office is cramped because it is full of fabric swatches, wood samples, and cans of paint. There is barely enough room to walk around some days. We are not a big firm with a showroom. We just have this one floor where we plan out things and meet with people. Mehrauli is a historic area, and you can feel that old energy even in the newer buildings. We spend a lot of time sketching out ideas on scraps of paper or arguing about which shade of blue looks better in the morning light. It is a creative mess most of the time. We don't have a polished presentation or a sales team. It is just a couple of us who like working with our hands and figuring out how to make a room look better. Sometimes we work late into the night when a deadline is coming up, and the only sound is the street dogs barking way down below. It is a simple life up here on the fourth floor. We just take it one project at a time and try to keep our heads above the paperwork.
