Ars Interiors

Our workshop is located at F-Ist 61 in Madangir, New Delhi. It’s a pretty cramped area, but we’ve made it our home for the interior work we do. If you come by, you’ll probably see us cutting wood or sorting through different types of hardware. It’s not a fancy design studio. It’s a place where we actually build things. There’s always saw dust on the floor and the smell of glue or polish in the air. We don't have any polished sales pitches or big advertisements. Most of the people we work for are just neighbors or folks who heard about us from a friend. We spend a lot of our time out at different sites around Delhi, which means dealing with the heat and the constant traffic. It’s not always easy getting all our tools and materials up into some of the apartment buildings, but we get it done. We try to be practical about how we design things because we know how people actually live. We don't use a lot of big words to describe our style. We just use our hands and our tools to make rooms look a bit better. Sometimes we make a mistake and have to start over, but that’s just part of the craft. We’ve been in Madangir for years now and we plan on staying. It’s just honest, hard work every day in our little corner of Delhi.
