5 Star Excellent Interiors

F-184 in Vishnu Garden is where we spend most of our time. It’s more of a workshop than a fancy studio or anything like that. 5 Star Excellent Interiors is the name on the papers, but mostly people just know us as the guys who do the wood work on this block. There’s usually a lot of sawdust on the floor and the air smells like glue and freshly cut boards. We spend our days making cabinets or wardrobes for the houses around here. Most people just bring a picture they saw on their phone and we try to figure out how to make it work. We don’t use any of those high-tech design programs. It’s all done with a pencil, a ruler, and some scrap paper. My cousin handles the polishing while I do the cutting and the assembly. It gets pretty loud when the saws are running, so we don't talk much during the shift. Sometimes a customer comes in and we have to shout over the noise just to hear what they want. We don’t have a showroom with bright lights or air conditioning. If you want to see what we do, you just have to look at what’s currently on the workbench. It’s honest, hard work and it takes time to get it right. We’ve been at this Vishnu Garden address for a long time now. It’s a bit messy, but it’s where the work happens.
