The Furniture Co.

You can find us at 57, on the First Floor of the Furniture Block in Kirti Nagar. Being in Kirti Nagar means we are surrounded by wood, sawdust, and a lot of other furniture shops. The Furniture Co. has been here for a bit, and we’ve seen the market change quite a lot. Our place is on the first floor, so you have to walk up some narrow stairs to get to us. It’s not a huge, polished showroom like the ones on the main road. It’s more of a working studio where we keep our designs and some finished pieces. There’s usually the smell of varnish or fresh-cut timber in the air. We spend our days sketching out ideas or talking to the carpenters about how a certain joint should look. We aren't a massive factory; it’s a small operation. We don’t use any corporate jargon or have big sales events. We just show people what we’ve made and talk about the wood we used. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle with the stairs, but we always manage to get the pieces moved. It’s a bit crowded with all the chairs and tables, but we know where everything is. We just enjoy making things that people can actually use in their homes. It’s honest work in a busy part of town. We might not have a fancy coffee machine, but the furniture we make speaks for itself.
