Kk Manhole & Gratings Co. Pvt. Ltd. has its main spot at Plot No. 12/16 in Sarvapriya Vihar. We are quite close to the metro station, which makes it easy for the staff to get to work without dealing with too much traffic. We make heavy-duty manhole covers and gratings for roads and buildings. It’s heavy, dirty work. The concrete and iron we use are messy, and the yard is usually full of finished covers drying in the sun. We’ve been supplying these to various construction projects for a while now. It’s not the most glamorous product, but every road needs them. Our office is tucked into a corner of the plot, mostly just to handle the invoices and calls. We have a small team of laborers and a couple of supervisors who keep an eye on the molds. Sometimes the mix isn't right, and we have to start over, which is frustrating, but we don't ship out things that aren't solid. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small businesses, so we try not to be too loud early in the morning. We just keep our heads down and produce what’s needed. People know where to find us when they need something that can handle heavy trucks driving over it. It’s just us here, making sure the city’s drains are covered up properly. We don't mind the noise much during the day.
