We’ve been tucked away here at R-136 in Greater Kailash for a good number of years now. It’s a pretty straightforward setup in a busy part of the neighborhood. Most mornings start with one of us showing up early to unlock the heavy front door and get the fans going before the first group arrives. The studio space isn’t anything overly fancy, just a large room with mirrors that we have to wipe down more often than you’d think. We spend a lot of time on these floors, teaching everything from basic footwork to more complicated routines. People from all over GK drop in, some coming straight from their offices still in their work clothes, while others are just kids from down the street. It gets quite loud when the music is pumping and everyone is moving at once. We keep a small area for shoes and bags near the entrance, though it often ends up a bit cluttered during the evening rush. There’s a small water cooler in the corner that we’re constantly refilling because it gets pretty warm in here once the classes get moving. We don't spend much time on long talks or formalities. Usually, we just get right into the rhythm as soon as everyone is ready. The walls are a bit scuffed from years of use, but it feels like home to us. It’s just a place where people come to move and forget about the traffic outside for an hour.
