People sometimes walk right past No. 101 C.S.C. in Sukhdev Vihar without noticing us. We have been here for a while now, sitting at these same desks every day. The office has a bit of a cluttered look because of all the folders and papers we keep. My Travel Villa started because we wanted a place to work that felt local. It is just a few of us here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at computer screens. The walls have some old maps that are starting to peel at the edges. Outside, the street gets quite busy around lunchtime, and you can hear the cars honking from the window. We usually bring our lunch from home and eat it right here while checking emails. It is not a fancy setup with glass walls or expensive chairs. Sometimes the printer jams when we are trying to print out vouchers or itineraries, and we have to spend ten minutes fixing it. We know the neighbors around Sukhdev Vihar pretty well. The tea stall guy brings us chai twice a day. It is just a regular workplace where things get done. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist. If the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. It is a bit loud sometimes, but we are used to it. We just keep track of things and try to stay organized among all the paperwork and files on our desks.
