Balaji Tours & Travels

Balaji Tours & Travels is run from our spot at 11/5 Kewal Park. Being in Azadpur means there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the horns and the street vendors from our front door all day long. We have a couple of desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their trips and trying to figure out the best roads for them to take. It’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the plastic chairs until it comes back. Our neighbor runs a small stall and we usually get our lunch from there. The office gets a bit dusty with all the construction happening nearby, so we are always dusting things off. We don't really have a big staff, just a few guys who know the city well. We've got maps pinned up but we mostly know the routes by heart now. It is a simple life here at the office. We try to keep things organized but sometimes papers get shuffled around when things get busy. Dealing with travel means things change fast, so we just try to keep up with the changes as they happen. It's a practical business and we like being part of the local Kewal Park community. We just keep things moving as best as we can every day.
