Our place is on the ground floor of House No 357/302, right in Gali No 1 in Saidul Azaib. Mehrauli is a historic part of the city, and working here gives us a lot of inspiration every day. We’ve been running SSK Interior from this spot for a while now. It’s a humble office, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our time out at work sites across South Delhi, but this is where we come back to do the paperwork and plan the next day. We have a small team, and we all know each other well. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. We’re usually in dusty jeans because we’re hands-on with the materials. We deal with all sorts of interior jobs, from basic repairs to bigger renovations. We like to keep things grounded and honest. If something can’t be done, we’ll tell you straight up instead of making empty promises. The narrow lanes here can be tricky for deliveries, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. We focus on the details that actually matter to the person living in the space. It’s not always glamorous work, but it’s satisfying to see a project come together. We just take it one project at a time and try to stay busy. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it works for us.
