Singhall Handicrafts is tucked away at 1/3894 Bhagwan Pur Khera, right off Loni Road in Shahdara. We are quite close to Durga Puri Chowk, which means the area is always buzzing with people and scooters. Our place is basically a big room full of different handmade items that we've collected or made over the months. Sometimes it’s a bit of a mess because we are constantly moving things around to make space for new arrivals. The shelves are packed tight, and you have to be careful not to knock anything over when you walk through the aisles. We don't have fancy lighting or air conditioning that works all the time. It gets quite warm in the summers, but we just keep the fans running and stay focused on the work. People come by asking for all sorts of things, and we do our best to find whatever they are looking for in the piles. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We take breaks together and talk about the news or the weather while we pack up boxes for shipping. The neighbors are mostly other small shops, so we all know each other. It’s not a corporate setup, just a local business trying to keep things moving. The street outside is never really quiet, even late at night. Sometimes we stay a bit longer to finish labeling everything before the morning rush starts all over again.
