We are set up at B-6/9 in Vasant Vihar. It is a decent area to work in, mostly quiet compared to the main commercial hubs. We deal with impex work, which is basically just a lot of buying and selling across borders. Most of our day is spent in front of computer screens or talking to people on the other side of the world. The time differences can be a bit of a pain, so someone is usually in the office at odd hours. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that are getting too full, and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. It is a straightforward operation. We don't have a fancy showroom because we don't really need one for the kind of trading we do. Everything is about the details and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the month. Sometimes a container gets stuck somewhere and we have to spend all day on the phone trying to track it down. It can be frustrating, but that is just how this business goes. We have been in Vasant Vihar for a good number of years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next shipment that needs to go out or come in.
