Our little place is called Sikkim, and we are located at number 11 on Sri Aurobindo Marg in the I N A area. It’s a busy part of the city with the market right nearby. We serve food that reminds us of home. It’s a small space, so you might have to squeeze in a bit if it’s lunch time. We have a few benches and tables. Most people come in for a quick bite while they are out doing their shopping. The kitchen is small too, but we manage to get everything out. We make a lot of momos and noodles. You can see the steam coming off the pots throughout the day. We don't have any fancy signs or a big menu. It’s just the basics. The walls have a few pictures, and the lighting is just whatever we could put up. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s a real place. We get all kinds of people coming in—students, office workers, and travelers. We try to keep the service quick because people are usually in a hurry. It’s been here for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the other shopkeepers around I N A. It feels like a small community in the middle of a big city. We just keep cooking and serving, one plate at a time. The floor is a bit uneven, and the door squeaks, but nobody seems to mind. It's just how the place is. We stay open until the market starts to quiet down for the night.
