Shokutsu Nihonbashi Restaurants Private

Running Shokutsu Nihonbashi Restaurants out here in Vasant Kunj keeps us pretty busy most of the week. We are over at Bharti Crescent, right on Nelson Mandela Road. It is a well-known area, though finding the exact spot at number 1 can sometimes be tricky for people who haven't been here before. We focus on the restaurant side of things, dealing with the daily chaos of the kitchen and making sure the tables are ready. It is not always as smooth as we would like it to be. Sometimes a staff member doesn’t show up or the delivery truck gets stuck in Delhi traffic, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. The Phase-II area is nice enough, but it gets very crowded during the evenings when people are out. We spend a lot of time checking our ingredients and talking to the chefs about what needs to be changed on the menu for the next day. We do not use any of those big corporate manuals to tell us how to talk to people. We just say hello and do our best. The office work happens in a small corner where the computer usually acts up once a week. We have been part of this neighborhood for a while now and we like the people who come in. It is a lot of hard work standing on your feet all day, but that is just how the restaurant business goes. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Delhi.
