Being up on the third floor of Anusandhan Apartments in Sector 6 Dwarka makes things a bit different than a ground-floor shop. We are in D-304 at Plot-22, which is mostly an office space where we handle all the paperwork for the import and export side of things. Dwarka is a bit quieter than the main city areas, which I personally like because it lets us focus on the logistics. It is mostly just making calls and tracking shipments on the screen all day. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we would like, but it is fine. The space is filled with files and some samples we keep on the shelves. It is not a big team here, just a few of us sitting around desks trying to make sure nothing gets stuck at the port. We spend a lot of time talking to customs agents and trying to figure out why a container is delayed. It can be frustrating, especially when the internet is slow or the phones are acting up for no reason. We have been at this plot for a few years now. Most neighbors in the building are residential, so we try to keep the noise down and just go about our business quietly. We usually eat lunch together at the small table in the corner. It is a simple setup, nothing special, but it works for the kind of trade we do every day.
