Century Overseas

You can find us at No. 37 in the DLF Industrial Area over in Kirti Nagar. People usually think of Kirti Nagar for the furniture shops, but our side is a bit more industrial. It’s where the real heavy work happens. Our building is a simple structure. We’ve got Century Overseas set up there with enough room for our files and a few desks. It’s not a place where you’d come for a tour. It’s a place where we sit down and track shipments all day. The street outside is usually lined with parked vehicles, so finding a spot can be a bit of a headache. We have a small gate that we keep open during the day. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations. Most of our furniture is stuff we’ve had for a decade. It’s comfortable enough. We know the neighbors, mostly people in the same line of work. We share news about the roads or the power cuts. It’s a community of sorts. We just keep our heads down and handle the overseas orders. Every day is pretty much the same, which is fine by us. We like the stability of it. No big corporate meetings, just a quick chat over tea to decide what needs doing next. It works for us and keeps the business going without any unnecessary stress or drama.
