You can find Focal Impex Pvt. Ltd. over at Samrat Apartment, specifically No. 171 in the B-11 block of Vasundhara Enclave. Being in an apartment complex means we have to be mindful of the families living nearby. We try not to make too much noise when we are moving things in and out. The security guard at the main gate usually knows who is coming to see us, which is helpful. The office is basically a converted living area. It feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of deliveries arriving at once. We have shelves lining almost every wall to make use of the vertical space. Sometimes the elevator in the building goes out of service, and then we have to use the stairs, which isn't fun when it's hot outside. There is a small balcony where we keep some plants that we keep meaning to take better care of. From there, you can see the parking lot and the kids playing in the afternoon. It’s a very domestic setting for a business, but it works for us. We don't have a big staff, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering emails to taping up boxes. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but we’ve managed to make it feel like our own little corner of the building over the years. It isn't much, but it is home for the work we do.
