Desh Impex is located at G-79 in the Aggarwal Millenium Tower 2. If you know Netaji Subhash Place in Pitampura, you know it’s a pretty packed area. Finding a parking spot can be a nightmare if you arrive after ten in the morning. We’ve been here in this unit for some time now. It’s a solid space for what we do. We handle imports, mostly. That means a lot of late nights sometimes when we have to talk to people in different time zones. The office isn't anything you'd see in a magazine. We have some sturdy desks and plenty of shelves for the samples that come in. Sometimes the air conditioning in the building is too cold, so we usually have a few sweaters hanging on the backs of our chairs. We keep things pretty simple. There’s no big reception area or fancy rugs. We’re usually too busy checking invoices to worry about how the place looks anyway. It’s a lot of coordination. You have to make sure the trucks show up when the warehouse says they're ready. We’ve had our share of mix-ups over the years, but we usually sort them out. It’s just us, working away in Pitampura, trying to keep the flow of goods moving along. If the door is open, someone is probably on a call or typing up a report. It's honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday every single week.
