At Rg Impex, our place is right in Shiv Shankar Market. If you know Sadar Bazar, you know how crowded it gets on Bahadurgarh Road. We are at number 3061/1/2. It’s a small space, mostly filled with boxes and samples. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers. The market starts early, so we are usually here before the sun gets too hot. It’s dusty and loud outside, but that’s just Sadar Bazar for you. We deal with various imports and exports, mostly small goods that move fast. There’s never enough room for everything we want to keep in stock. We often have to shift things around just to find a chair to sit on. The neighbors are mostly other traders who have been here as long as we have. We don't really do big advertisements. Most of our work comes from people who walk through the market or know us from years ago. My cousin helps me with the accounts, though he’s often late. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when three deliveries show up at once. The fans in the shop barely keep the heat away in June. We just focus on getting the goods out to the customers who need them. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us going. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out with some chai from the vendor across the street. We’ve been here for years and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint.
