Saraswati Music College

Saraswati Music College is situated at A/1/226 on the Iris Park Hotel Road in Safdarjung Enclave. It is a busy little spot where there is almost always some kind of music playing in the background, even from the street. We have people coming in for all sorts of things, like sitar, tabla, or even piano and guitar lessons. The building itself is older and has that lived-in feel to it, with instrument cases often leaning against the walls in the narrow hallway. We have been teaching here for years and have seen many generations of students come and go. Some are just little kids starting out, while others are older people who finally have some free time for a hobby. It’s not a fancy conservatory or anything corporate like that. It’s just a place where we sit down on the floor or on simple chairs and practice for hours. The instructors are local musicians who really know their stuff and enjoy sharing it. Sometimes the neighborhood is quiet, but inside these walls, it's always humming with scales, songs, and the sound of tuning. We don't spend our money on big ads or flashy signs outside. Most people just walk in because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a relaxed place where the focus is just on the music and nothing else. We like the way things are and just keep doing what we do every single day.
