Salsa 4 Fun India

You can find our studio over at Saket G-83. It is a decent-sized space where we do all our dancing and teaching. Salsa 4 Fun India is not a stiff or formal kind of school. We started this whole thing because we loved the music and wanted a regular place to practice and meet other people. The floors are a bit worn down in some spots from all the shoes sliding across them over the months. We have some large fans that we keep on high speed because it gets really hot once the classes start and everyone is moving. There is not much furniture in the room, just some long benches along the wall where people can drop their bags and water bottles. We do not have a fancy front desk with a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, one of us just stands by the door to check people in as they arrive for the evening. The mirrors are probably the most important thing we have in the room. We spend a lot of time cleaning them because they get smudged really easily. The neighborhood around Saket is pretty lively, so there is usually some noise coming in from the street. We just play the music loud enough that it does not matter. It is a casual vibe and we just want people to enjoy the rhythm and learn the steps.
