Rameshwar Das Jawahar Lal

Rameshwar Das Jawahar Lal is an old name in a very old part of the city. We are situated at M-24 on the Connaught Place Main Road. This shop has been here for a long time, and we have seen the whole area transform around us. Back in the day, things were much slower, but now CP is always rushing. Our shop still has that traditional feel with wooden shelves and a heavy desk. We aren't like the new glass-fronted stores that look like they belong in a mall. We just sell what we have always sold and keep things simple. People come to M-24 because they know we have been here for decades. It is a bit of a landmark for some of our older customers. We don't do any big marketing or have a social media page. We just open the shop in the morning and wait for the day to start. Sometimes it is very noisy with the traffic on the main road, but you get used to the sound of horns after a while. We spend our time talking to people and managing the stock. It’s a bit of a dusty place sometimes, and the inventory is not always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. We just focus on our daily routine and staying at our spot on the main road. It’s a quiet life in a very loud place.
