R. J. Interiors

We are located over at D-42 in Defence Colony. It’s a nice enough area, though parking can be a real pain if you arrive at the wrong time. Our office is where we do all the planning, though most of the real work happens out at the various sites we’re currently on. R. J. Interiors is basically just a small team of us who spend our days looking at floor plans, samples of wood, and paint chips. The desks are usually covered in sketches and scraps of paper where we’ve jotted down measurements or notes from a phone call. It’s not a polished studio like you might see in a magazine. It’s more of a place where we figure out how to make things fit and what materials are actually available. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and workers, trying to make sure things arrive when they are meant to. Sometimes there are delays or the color isn't quite what we expected, and we have to sort it out. It’s a lot of back and forth, really. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors know us. We don't put on any airs; we just show up, look at the projects, and try to get the details right. It’s a busy life, moving between the office and the job sites, but it keeps us on our toes and the days go by quickly.
