Up here on the 5th floor of the Kailash Building, we spend our days thinking about windows. Being at 26 K G Marg means we are right in the heart of the city's hustle. The building is old but sturdy, much like the window frames we handle. We have our office in room 501. It is not a huge space, but it is where all the planning happens. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at technical drawings. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Delhi heat, but we keep the windows shut tight. We deal with a lot of different people, from contractors to homeowners who just want a quieter house. KG Marg is always buzzing with cars and people, and we can see it all from up here. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just provide windows that work. The team is small, and we have worked together for a long time, so we know each other's habits. We drink a lot of chai and try to stay on top of the orders. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks, and we have to spend a Saturday clearing it out. It is a straightforward business. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. That is just the way it is for us at Profine India. There is always something to do, but we like the pace.
