Jai Tirath Glass & Marble Company

Our shop is at D 196, right near the Mayapuri Flyover on the Ring Road in Mansarover Garden. It is a very busy spot because of the traffic coming off the flyover. We handle both glass and marble which keeps us on our toes. You have to be very different with glass than you are with stone. One is fragile and the other is heavy and solid. We have been at this location for a long time. The noise from the Ring Road is something you just learn to ignore after a while. We have all kinds of glass sheets and marble slabs leaning against the walls. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we get a new shipment in. Customers usually pull over near the flyover and walk in to see what we have. We don't have any fancy displays. You just see the raw materials as they are. Sometimes we are cutting glass to size and other times we are helping someone load marble into a truck. It is a practical business. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork. Most of our day is spent handling the materials and talking to customers who stop by. Mansarover Garden is a good area to be in, even if the traffic is a bit much. We just keep doing what we do and try to stay organized among all the glass and stone. It is a lot to manage but we are used to the pace by now.
