Exterior & Hardware is located at No.-8/24B, in Gali No.-1 of Govindpuri. We are directly opposite Acharya Narendra Dev College. Being near a college means there are always students walking by, which keeps the energy up in the street. Our shop is full of all the small things you need to fix a house—screws, hinges, paint brushes, and locks. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we have so many drawers and shelves. I’m the only one who really knows where everything is hidden. If you ask for a specific size of bolt, I can usually find it in a minute or two, even if it’s at the bottom of a bin. The shop gets a bit dark in the corners, so we use flashlights sometimes. It’s a practical place. We don't have a big sign or any flashing lights. People know we are here because we’ve been in Govindpuri for a long time. We spend a lot of time talking to the local plumbers and electricians who stop by every morning. We share a bit of gossip and complain about the heat. Sometimes we run out of something popular, and we just have to tell people to come back on Tuesday. That’s just how it goes with a small hardware store. We aren't trying to compete with the big malls. We just provide what the neighbors need for their repairs. It’s a humble shop and we like it that way.
