Popli De Singing Bell

You can find us deep inside Dariba Kalan, specifically at 1378 Gali Krishna Wali. It is one of those old spots in Gali Gulian where the streets are so narrow you can touch the walls on both sides if you stretch your arms. Popli De Singing Bell has been around for a long time, and the shop is full of the sounds of metal hitting metal. We deal with bells and various items that have a bit of weight to them. The air always smells a bit like old brass and dust. It is not a modern showroom by any means. The wooden counters are worn down from years of use, and we have to stack things high to make everything fit. People come in looking for something specific, and we usually have to dig through a few boxes to find it. We aren't very fast with technology, so we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way. It takes time to get things right, and we don't like to rush. The neighbors are all doing similar work, so there is a sense of community in the lane. We eat our lunch together and complain about the heat in the summer. It’s a modest life, and we are just happy to keep the doors open and the bells ringing for another day. It isn't always easy to find us if you aren't familiar with the area, but we like it that way.
