You can find Patodiya Silver Private Limited tucked away in Kucha Mahajani, which is deep inside Chandni Chowk. Our shop is number 8, and it’s on the second floor of House Number 1186. If you’ve ever walked through Chandni Chowk, you know how crowded it gets with the rickshaws and everyone rushing around. Kucha Mahajani is the heart of the silver trade, so there’s always a lot of movement and noise. Our space isn't very large, but we make the most of it. We spend our days surrounded by silver, doing the counting and the weighing and talking to the other merchants nearby. The stairs up to the second floor are old and a bit steep, but they lead right to our door. We don't go in for much polish or high-end office furniture. It’s a working shop where we get things done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it and keep going. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors and you can hear the sounds of the market from the window. We like being part of this old part of Delhi. There’s a lot of history in these walls, even if they could use a fresh coat of paint. We just focus on the silver and the customers who find their way to us.
