We are over at Unit No. 108 in the Vardhaman Janak Market. It’s a straightforward setup where we come in every day to manage our sterling products. The market has a lot of energy, and being in Unit 108 means we see a lot of what goes on throughout the day. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations in the shop, just the basic shelves and the cases where we keep the items. We spend a good chunk of our time checking the inventory and making sure everything is polished up. Silver can get tarnish on it if you aren't careful, so there’s always something to rub down with a cloth. It’s a bit of a repetitive job, but it’s necessary to keep things looking decent. The customers who come in are usually locals from the neighborhood who are looking for something specific. We don’t try to push people into buying anything, we just let them look around and answer whatever questions they have. Sometimes the market gets a bit loud with all the different sounds of people talking and cars nearby, but inside the shop, it’s usually a bit calmer. We keep a small kettle for making tea, and that’s how we spend our breaks. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s a steady one. We’ve been in this unit for a while now and we know exactly how everything works, from the light switches to the lock on the front door.
