Patel Silver

Patel Silver is located in Darya Ganj. This is an old part of the city, and the streets are usually very crowded with people and carts. We have been here for a long time, working with silver every day. It’s a small shop, but we have enough room to show what we have and to do some basic work in the back. Silver needs a lot of care, so we spend a good chunk of our time just polishing the items so they don't look dull. The noise from the street is always there, but you stop noticing it after a few years. We know most of the people who live and work around here. Our customers are mostly locals, and some have been coming to us since they were young. We don't use any modern computers for our sales, just a simple notebook to keep track of everything. It’s a slow pace of life inside the shop compared to the chaos outside. Sometimes people bring in old family pieces that are broken, and we try our best to fix them up. It’s a lot of fine work that takes a steady hand. We open the doors early in the morning and stay until late. It’s just how we run things. There is nothing fancy about our shop, but we like it that way. It’s a place where we feel comfortable and the work keeps us grounded.
