About Paloma Exports (India) – Art & Craft in New Delhi
We operate out of Samalkha, right near the telephone exchange. Our spot is MH-771. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tracking shipments. Being near the exchange is handy, though the noise from the street can get loud sometimes. We started Paloma Exports (India) because there was a gap in the local market for getting goods moved efficiently. It’s not a huge operation, just a handful of us making sure everything is labeled right and sent to the right place. We mostly handle things for the local trade. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the logs. The building itself is nothing special, just a practical space where we can work. We’ve been in Samalkha for some time and know most of the neighbors. People stop by to chat or ask about shipping times. We don't have a glossy brochure or anything like that. We just focus on the task at hand. If the trucks are late, we wait. When the paperwork is messy, we fix it. It’s how we’ve always done things here. It's a bit dusty sometimes with the construction nearby, but we keep the office as tidy as possible. We’re just regular folks trying to make a living in the export business without too much fuss.
