Nitish Photography

I’ve been running Nitish Photography from E-81 Swami Dayanand Colony in Kisanganj for a while now. The studio is basically just a room with some lights and a backdrop, but it gets the job done. I spend a lot of time out of the office too, going to different events or taking pictures elsewhere. Kisanganj is an old area, so it’s got a lot of character, which I like. My camera equipment takes up most of the shelf space here. I usually have a bunch of memory cards and batteries charging on the main table. It’s not always the tidiest place, especially after a long shoot when I’m trying to sort through hundreds of photos. I don’t really have a big staff, maybe just a helper when things get really busy during the wedding season. People usually find me because they saw my work at a friend’s house or someone told them about the shop. I don’t use any fancy marketing tricks. I just take the pictures and hope people like how they turned out. Sometimes the lighting in the colony isn't great, but we manage. I’ve lived around here for years, so I know most of the people on the block. It feels like a good place to be. I just keep showing up and clicking photos, trying to catch things as they happen naturally.
