Rj Studio is our home base here in New Delhi. It’s where all the magic—or mostly just a lot of hard work—happens with the cameras. The studio is often a bit of a mess with tripods, lights, and backdrops everywhere. We don't spend much time cleaning up unless someone is coming over. Mostly, we’re busy looking through lenses and trying to capture a decent shot. Photography is a lot more than just clicking a button, as anyone who’s tried it knows. We deal with lighting that won't behave and cameras that decide to act up at the worst time. But we’ve been doing this long enough to handle the hiccups. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon about visual storytelling or anything. We just take photos that look good. Whether it’s a person or something else, we just want it to look right. The studio is in a busy part of Delhi, so there’s always noise outside, but once we’re working, we don't notice it much. We’re just a small crew of people who really like taking pictures. Sometimes we’re out on the street for shoots, other times we’re hunched over a computer editing for hours. It’s a varied job and we like the change of pace. We don't have a big corporate vibe, just a creative one that’s a bit rough around the edges and very real.
