We’re located at Sheikh Sarai Phase I, right at Shop No 1 in the LSC Market. It’s a pretty easy spot to find because we’re directly opposite the vocational college. Because of the college, we get a lot of students coming in between their classes. They’re usually looking for a quick bite or something cold to drink. The shop has been here for a good while, and it shows in some places. The tiles are a bit worn down and the furniture is the simple kind that’s built to last rather than look pretty. We serve food and ice cream. During the lunch hour, it gets quite hectic. We only have a few people working here, so we’re usually running around trying to get the orders out and keep the tables somewhat clean. Sometimes the orders get backed up and people have to wait, but most of the regulars are used to it. We don’t have any of that corporate polish. We just talk to people like they’re our neighbors, which many of them are. The market outside can be a bit chaotic with cars and bikes parked everywhere, but once you’re inside, it’s a bit calmer. We keep the fans going full blast because the air doesn't move much in this part of the building. It’s a plain, honest place to get some food.
