Naad Musik

Naad Musik is tucked away in Mayur Vihar Gd Colony, specifically near Shanker Palace Phase 3 at A 1232. If you walk past our door in the afternoon, you will probably hear some drums or a guitar being played, maybe not always perfectly, but with a lot of effort. We have a few rooms set up for practice and teaching. It gets a little cramped when we have more than three students at once, but we manage by shifting things around. The walls have some old posters of musicians, and there is always a layer of dust on the piano that we have to wipe down every morning. We deal with a lot of kids who want to learn Bollywood songs and some older folks who just want to pick up a hobby after they retire from work. It is not a very quiet place, as you can imagine. Sometimes the neighbors complain if the bass is too loud, so we have to tell the students to turn it down a notch. The building itself is quite normal, nothing that stands out from the street, but we like it that way. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just hearing the music when they are walking their dogs in the colony. We keep spare strings and picks in a drawer because someone is always losing them or breaking them during a lesson at the shop.
