Mool Chand Chourasia Pan Shop

Mool Chand Chourasia Pan Shop is right in the middle of Munirka Rama Market. I’ve been here since I was a lot younger. The market is always crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming back from their offices. I open the shop early to get a head start on the day. There is a lot of preparation involved that people don't really see. I have to clean the glass cases and make sure everything is in its right place. Rama Market has its own rhythm. You get used to the sounds of the traffic and the people bartering nearby. My shop is quite small, but it’s enough for me. I don’t like things to be too complicated. I just sit here and do my work. Sometimes a customer will stay and chat for a few minutes about the local news or how the roads are blocked again. I’ve seen a lot of shops come and go in Munirka, but we are still here at the same spot. It’s not a fancy business. I don’t have any marketing plans or big ideas. I just want to provide what people expect when they stop by. The dust from the street is a constant battle, so I am always cleaning. It’s a simple routine, and it suits me well enough. I plan on staying here at Rama Market as long as I can keep going.
