Monica Exports

Our office is tucked away at G-2 in Anand Niketan. It’s a pretty decent place to work, even if it gets a little quiet during the middle of the afternoon. We handle exports, which basically means we spend our whole day dealing with stacks of paperwork and looking at boxes. The room isn't very big, so we have to be careful about where we put everything so we don't trip over our own feet. We have a couple of old desks and some chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. Usually, you’ll find us on the phone or trying to figure out where a specific shipment has gotten to. It can be a bit stressful when things are moving fast, but we’ve been doing this long enough that we don’t panic much anymore. There’s a small tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a break from the computers. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it feels a lot different than those big noisy industrial zones. We like that about being here. It’s a bit more relaxed, even when we have a lot of work on our plates. We aren't doing anything flashy, just making sure things get sent out on time and the records stay straight. That’s pretty much how it goes for us every single day.
