Riya Impex

Riya Impex is based at A-9 in Milap Nagar, which is part of the Uttam Nagar area. It’s a busy residential and commercial mix around here. We’ve been using this space for our import-export work for quite a while. It’s not a large office, just a couple of rooms that we’ve converted into a workspace. We have some storage in the back for the items that come in. Most days are pretty routine. We check the mail, respond to queries, and wait for the delivery trucks to arrive. The streets can be narrow, so when a big vehicle comes, everything else stops for a minute. We’ve lived and worked in this area long enough that it doesn't bother us anymore. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a person to greet you at the door. If the bell rings, whoever is closest just goes and opens it. We keep our overheads low because we don't see the point in spending money on expensive furniture. The desks are old, and the chairs might squeak, but they work fine for us. We focus on the business at hand. We don't do much in terms of marketing. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our address. It’s a simple, local business. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the paperwork. There’s always something to fix or a call to make, so we stay busy.
