You can find us over at 262 Okhla Industrial Estate, right in the thick of Phase I and Phase 3, not far from where the old Modi Mills is. It is a busy industrial area, so there is always a lot of trucks and noise going on outside our doors. Metropol (India) has been based here for a long time, and we mostly deal with manufacturing and industrial supplies. The building is a bit old and has that typical factory feel to it, with high ceilings and a lot of concrete floors. We have a team of people who have been with us for years, just working the floor and making sure things are moving along as they should. It gets pretty dusty in here, and the summer heat in Okhla is no joke, but we keep the fans running and stay at it. We aren't some sleek corporate office; we’re a working site where stuff actually gets made and packed. Sometimes the loading dock gets backed up, and we all have to pitch in to get things sorted out. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We’ve seen a lot of other companies come and go in the estate, but we’ve managed to stay put at our spot. Most of our day is spent checking inventory or seeing how the production is going. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the boxes and equipment, but it’s our maze.
