This office is down on the ground floor at H-15/14 in Malviya Nagar. It is a decent enough spot because people do not have to climb any stairs to get to us which helps when they are carrying heavy folders or bags. The main room is filled with those big metal cabinets where we keep all the files and old records from years ago. It gets a bit stuffy in the summer months but we have a couple of ceiling fans that stay on all day long. I usually spend most of my time looking for specific papers or trying to help people fill out forms that never seem to end. There is a tea stall just around the corner and the guy there brings us hot cups a few times a day which is nice. You can hear the traffic from the main road all the time but it just becomes background noise after you have worked here for a while. We have a lot of neighbors walking in just to ask for directions or help with a signature. The desks are a bit old and the drawers sometimes get stuck if you pull them too hard but they work fine for what we need to do. It is not a fancy place with modern furniture or anything, just a regular office where things get done slowly. Sometimes the internet goes out and we just sit around waiting for it to come back.
